I know it's not cool to like david crowder, but i do.
He's good because everything he writes is true over time and doesn't ever stop being true.
It's like that bonhoeffer sermon
"The Holy One Himself comes down to us, God in the child in the manger. God comes. The Lord Jesus comes. Christmas comes. Christians rejoice! In a few weeks we shall hear that cry of triumph. But already we can hear in the distance the sound of the angels' song praising God and promising peace on Earth. But, not so quick! It is still in the distance. it calls to us to learn to wait and to wait aright."
In a world where we have everything. In a world where any question is answerable with the slide of a finger, we must wait.
wait.
hope is on the horizon.
We've seen this, and we will see it again.
